MARBLEHEAD --
YOUTH LEAGUES -- Marblehead Boys Youth Lacrosse announced that registration for the 2026 spring season is open to all age groups, Pre-K through 8th grade. Families who sign up before December 31 qualify for an early bird discount, according to the organization's website.
The program offers three tracks. The Boys Clinic serves Pre-K and kindergarten players with hour-long introductory sessions once a week, typically on Sunday mornings, focused on basic skills and short-sided games. The Boys Classic league, for 1st through 8th grade, runs an eight-game season plus a jamboree tournament from early April through mid-June, with all players getting equal playing time on evenly balanced teams; the program does not field "A" or "B" squads and keeps no standings or playoffs. The Boys Select program adds a more competitive option for experienced U13 (5th and 6th grade) and U15 (7th and 8th grade) players to face top competition from surrounding towns.
The league directs families to the Demosphere app for game schedules once the season begins.
